The 4 star Hotel Rocamarina is situated around 50 metres from the beach, in the quiet Es Forti district of the popular resort of Cala d'or on the southern east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the picturesque Cala d'or marina and pedestrianised centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Hotel Rocamarina has a total of 207 guest rooms, including 187 standard twin rooms and a further 20 singles, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst almost 14,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hair dryer, along with a telephone, satellite television, fridge or mini-bar and either a balcony or terrace.

In addition to the above features, a number of Superior Rooms are also available with reclining terrace chairs and cushions, and which have exterior views over the pool/sea or outdoor entertainment area. These superior rooms also have tea/coffee making facilities, bathrobes and slippers, as well as complimentary fruit and wine on arrival.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and safety deposit boxes available for rental, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include an additional pool, which is situated across the road from the main hotel grounds, with its own bar and restaurant/grill. These facilities are open to the public and sun beds here will carry an additional local charge.

The Hotel Rocamarina also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment which, subject to the weather, is often held on the outside stage, with either live music or other professional shows several times each week, provided as part of the Thomson Gold programme.
